The first important rule is personalization. We have to avoid mass marketing. Éditions de Villers listens to its customers and finds solutions corresponding to their needs. We have to be able to reach people in order to receive the anticipated effect. The cards put into print are limited and exclusive to Éditions de Villers.
The second rule is product quality. Éditions de Villers suggests superior quality as far as paper/cardboard use, the choice of avant-garde packaging and reproductions faithful to original works of the artists are concerned.
The greeting card represents the company’s image, so it’s important to avoid home-spun initiatives. An electronic distribution may be tempting given its cost, speed and delivery efficiency, but faced by a multitude of received e-mails, few people actually read them. We all work with human beings and we believe that the tradition of greeting cards that dates back to 1843 must remain a cordial and human gesture in order to remind others that we appreciate them.
In our establishment, your Christmas campaign takes its full meaning. Our partnership agreements with Opération Enfant Soleil, the Ste-Justine Hospital Foundation and the Société des Enfants Handicapés du Québec translates in a 15 cent donation for each card sold in either of these organizations or any of your choice.
