The paintings of Andrée Côté-Levesque radiates the colors of the town of Rivière-du-Loup.
She paints countryside landscapes, seascapes and animals however, the essential of her productions is focused on inexhaustible themes that open up new perspectives of streets, houses, lingering people and buildings of Rivière-du-Loup and the surrounding villages.
Through the years, certain paintings have been used to illustrate books, magazine covers, programs for convention... and the official Christmas card used by the Town Hall of Rivière-du-Loup.
Her art is a full time occupation. Her paintings are purchased by collectors throughout Quebec, other Canadian provinces, United States and France. In addition to these sales, she must honor individual orders, asked for in advance which demand short and long term planification.
Reproductions of her paintings on greeting cards, post cards and gift cards bring her vision of Rivière-du-Loup to the four corners of the Earth.
Andrée Côté-Levesque’s paintings are exposed permanently at the Petite galerie d’art du Restaurant Saint Patrice and at Café Nelligan de la Librairie du Portage.
During the summer season, her paintings are also exposed at the Galerie d’Art du Manoir seigneurial Fraser.
